DPDPA implementation note
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 provide the current Indian framework for digital personal data protection. The Rules were notified on 13 November 2025 with phased commencement provisions. StartupStack should maintain a dated compliance plan aligned to the provisions as they become applicable.
