Consent is collected in a clear, purpose-linked way rather than through bundled or hidden acceptance.
Required account terms
Registration requires acknowledgement of the Terms of Service and Privacy/Collection Notice. These records are versioned.
Publisher KYC consent
Publisher applicants must acknowledge the purpose of identity/business review and administrator verification before submitting registration information.
Marketing
Marketing/newsletter consent should be separate from account/service consent. Do not make optional marketing consent a condition of account creation.
Record keeping
The platform records consent type, policy version, decision, source and privacy-preserving hashes of connection metadata. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the consent log.
Implementation note: This page is a platform implementation baseline, not a legal opinion. StartupStack should validate it with Indian privacy/corporate counsel and update it for its actual vendors, retention periods, contracts, security controls and notified obligations before relying on it as a final legal document.
